It's not every day you become an official Octopus octogenarian. 

It's not really hard to suss out that a "Birthday Meal" with three, on such an auspicious occasion is likely to become a sit-down for 10.

Wasn't as much a surprise as they expected since there was also one for Jerra's last significant "X0" B/day. 

The cake was, apart from delicious, truly a family affair.  
Alice's recipe carried on, and made by "Kat", in Edinburgh, decorated in Sheffield by the oft Clicky-mentioned "D" & "E" making most of the flowers; neither of them, yet teenage. (Hoping Clicky refreshes my memory of their ages.)
