On the Way to the Pool

While not exactly a sunrise, the clouds were still interesting as I walked to the pool this morning.

After a morning covering for work colleagues on holiday this week, we headed over for a late lunch to celebrate L’s mother’s birthday.  We went to a recently refurbished pub, just a pity the menu didn’t offer light lunch options, so we resigned ourselves to sharing a main course or doubling up on sides.

Got home and watched Thirteen Lives about the rescue of the football team from flooded caves.  Much of the start was subtitled but it warmed up after an hour or so.  Still remarkable what was achieved.
