Our away weekend starts

Off via Lussan to Uzes for their (47th) wine festival - except it was far too hot to do anythnig, even wine tasting. The godsend was that our accomadation for the night was air conditioned, albeit up three flights of a stone spiral staircase.
Slightly recovered and with a reduced temperature our second attmpt at tasting was an improvement.
A really pretty restaruant for supper with, to my mind, a slighlty pretensious menu preceded an evening stroll round the pretty town centre including this octagonal tower and a seriously large icecream in the central square.
