Totally pampered!

It was Alison's last day in Belgium today, so before she flew home tonight we spent the day at a Spa close to Brussels with blip buddy Shoemum.

The Chateau of Boetfort is over 400 years old and was converted into a Spa/Wellness centre in 2010. The Chateau itself is now a wonderful restaurant with Louis XV furnishings, upstairs there are treatment rooms, and there's even a hotel! The grounds are divided into two sections and provide facilities for people in swim wear and also for naturists. Both sections have swimming pools, jacuzzi's and a variety of steam rooms and saunas, plus an underground relaxation pool, and are open to all users, as long as the clothing rules are complied with. I should add that we didn't visit the naturist facilities ;-)

We had a really lovely, relaxing day and spent about 7 hours there, so came home feeling totally pampered. I'll definitely go back here before I leave Belgium, and am only sorry that I've not been before!
