Gardening and rain

MONDAY

A morning spent in the garden mowing and hedge trimming. Everything looks so parched.

This afternoon, we saw the first significant rain for several weeks. A welcome sight.

I've been sorting out a lot of financial stuff this week and whilst everything was to hand I also completed my self-assessment tax return for 2021-2. I usually leave it until the last minute. Looks like I owe HMRC just  £3.45 in underpaid tax. 

Watched the final episode of Marriage tonight. Agonising at times but compulsive viewing.
