Steaming gambas
I can never buy from the stall as I am always too early. They stallholder is preparing her four pans of takeaway food, all using fresh ingredients and smelling delicious but the food will not be ready until mid or late morning. I was back from the market early and then did some packing and preparations for travel to the UK. I also prepared an agenda for the PCC for an emergency meeting to try to resolve the disagreements that took place at the weekend. French conversation in the afternoon was a more relaxing affair as we sat outside in the deep shade of the plane tree.
