Early start

After a busy weekend I was hoping for a lie in this morning.

But a spur of the moment decision to enter the London Marathon ballot at 6.50 this morning resulted in success. I got in the ballot.

The ballot closed at 150,000 applicants in less than 12 hours.

Now the hard part - getting a place!
