Lucky Knickers

I've featured quite a few blips of the famous Barras Market in Glasgow since it reached its 100 year anniversary last year. 

One aspect I haven't mentioned is the 'Patter' of the traders.  Some of it legendry.   ('Patter' is a term for the catchphrases etc and the local humour).

Now they have immortalised some of the famous patter used over the years.  Written into the pavements. Things like "Come a wee bit closer Madam, I don't do mail order." ; "Hurray Hurray, Mrs Murray;.   And this one - a tribute to legendary lingerie trader Josie, whose loud voice could always be heard shouting "Get yer lucky knickers".
