Tile Sign
The small town of Tieton, WA has undergone a bit of a renascence in the years since we left the area. What was formerly a fruit packing town has morphed into somewhat of an artist enclave. One of the old warehouses has been turned into small spaces filled with artists of all types. Key to the rebirth was a focus on recreating old apple box labels in large scale tile installations. There are about a dozen throughout the two-street town, this one is on the Box Art Gallery and was enhanced (I thought) by some significant afternoon shadows.
