Birthday boy

Eco great grandad turned 96 today.

There was a small family gathering at the Eco uncle house.

Henry here is wearing his North British Distillery Bowling Club Blazer, he tells me is the last member still alive.

Nice catching up with all the family, from 13 months to the grand master at 96 years. The recent new arrival of 2 weeks could not make it.

He said he always wanted to take his eldest daughter(Eco gran now 69) for her pension to show her the ropes, that was achived a while back.

Until recently he still washed the windows, cut the hedge and did all the shopping. He has slowed down a bit these days bit still has a sparkle in his eye.

Eco family gave him a litre of homemade sloe gin and some Thornton toffees.
