Wherrymen

Some of Mr H’s family were wherrymen on the Norfolk Broads. I have sourced this second hand book , the Black Sailed Traders, all about the life of Wherry’s. His ancestors are named in it. Opened up about another 30 years of research, but fascinating.

It is however a heavy going read, but a wonderful find.
All because of a week in Norfolk and a quick google of ‘Wherry’ .
