New old landscape

Thruscross is one of our favourite walks as it isn’t as popular as Fewston ans Swinsty. We’d heard that the old village of west end was beginning to appear from the water so we decided we’d go and have a look. It was certainly the busiest we’d ever seen it, and whilst low, not as much as I expected was exposed. 

I loved the textures and patterns in this, but also the old tree stumps. Amazing how it is all still visible given it has been under water for so long. A couple more in extras.
