Doormat design

An EB. Getting ready to go for a quick visit with family. Our older granddaughter is starting the 11 month PDP (Professional Development Program) for elementary teachers on Sept. 6 at UBC. I worked for a UBC program for 25 years and am very familiar with the campus, so I'm taking her on a tour to find the buildings where her classes will be. I love the campus and am looking forward to seeing the changes since I was last there. 
By this time next year, she'll be a qualified primary teacher!  Third generation teacher in the family.  After she graduated from high school, she went to an agricultural college for 2 years to get a diploma in equine science and a certificate in business. Horse crazy since she was a wee girl. She always wanted to be a teacher though, and decided to do a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and graduated last spring. She's such a wonderful young woman and has so many qualities that will make her an outstanding teacher. So proud of her!
