Sandhill Cranes

I encountered a small group of Sandhill Cranes (Antigone canadensis) while walking on the boardwalk in Crosswinds Marsh. I often hear their loud calls during my visits to this park, but I seldom get to see them. These large birds rarely venture close enough to the trails for any hope of a successful image.
