Tuesday: Precinct Beautification

K was supposed to have a hospital check-up today and rang up to find whether she could still go with her cold symptoms.  They said she couldn’t, but understood that it was time-sensitive so will rearrange for her to go before our departure.

We used the day to do other good jobs.  We went to a local outlet store where I managed to get some great outfits for my next job.  I went to the bank and sorted out a few things there,  we purchased some boxes to send some stuff to ourselves and we’ve got foreign currency now too.  And this afternoon we did a bit of sorting.

We decided that my aunty must be feeling stir-crazy being in the house with her broken foot so this evening we bundled her in the car and had an excellent Indonesian meal at ‘Simpson’s Bistro’.  It’s much better than it’s incongruous location suggests.
