The Morning After
Last night's snow settled nicely, so I took myself off to check out the bush, rather than the town and the tourists.
Snow is rare around these parts, and people go a bit funny.
I've always found wattle very hard to photograph, but the main is at least unusual, encased in snow.
Too early for other wildflowers, sadly, though I noticed some waratahs with big fat buds.
I'll be back for them:)
The first extra is taken through the kitchen window, not because I'm lazy (which I am), but because it afforded the best perspective.
The other two are of the bush, looking ever so pretty..
The grass trees, in particular, look beautiful in the snow,
