Treetop terror

Summer holiday 2022 day 7

Homeward bound with a stop off at Chessington World of Adventures to break up the journey. We all queued up for the Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, where we tried and failed to get a family holiday selfie*. Once that was done Aaron wanted to go round the zoo* while Owen wanted to do more exploring, so it was Daddy and Owen off to the Room on the Broom ride before going up into the Amazu Treetop Adventure. He wasn't sure about it at first but once I'd been round there with him a couple of times (no arm twisting needed) he was happy to run around the whole thing like here until Aaron and Louisa joined us.

Still Owen wasn't done exploring so we left the other two to look around the Sealife Centre while we went on Tiny Truckers* and the Temple of Mayhem before we finally started to head home again. A quick services stop for a last fast food blow out, we finally got hone about 10 o'clock to see James...I think he missed us while we were away, he was certainly content to have us back*.
