Oslo's Piccadilly Circus

This is Egertorget, our very modest "Piccadilly Circus", displaying Norway's first neon sign from 1909 with its 1500 electric bulbs advertising Freia chocolate. This was a huge sensation in those days, when the city was predominantly lit by gas.
