Something historic

Another hot mainly sunny day, a still humid time but some breeze this evening.

Felt so much better today, hospitals are not a place I like visiting!  Phoned my friend, did the housework, had coffee and read.  Lunch and then K came round and we went to see friends, had been going to walk but too hot so used the car. Tried to think what I could do for the challenge and them remembered I have a lot of things that belonged to dad so this is the blip.  He looks so young in this photo and in 1948 he would have been 26
