UFO

With the plasterer due tomorrow to start on the first stage of our bedroom & en-suite revamp, we spent the morning clearing furniture out of the bedroom and taking up the carpet, followed by two trips to the recycling centre.

It was pretty hot work in the humid conditions so we didn’t do a great deal this afternoon (I may have closed my eyes for 5 minutes or so!) but I did notice that the apple tree has been attacked again by an Unidentified Fungal Object which seemed to be auditioning for the role of Dr Who’s next alien enemy. It was a case of “Off with it’s head!”.

Needless to say, we had a phone call late afternoon from the plasterer saying he can’t make tomorrow as his current job is over running and promising to be here on Friday week. Looks like we’ll be camping out in the spare room for longer than anticipated.
