I heard it on the grape vine...

Today has been a day of chat. This morning I had a Zoom call with three of my university friends. We first met in September 1976 and have kept in touch ever since. Every now and again we meet you for a catch up. Zoom has made it especially easy, particularly given one of the gang is in Dunedin on NZ South Island.

This afternoon we had an inaugural meeting to establish a cooperative of printmakers who have met at the Guildford studio. The idea is to try and exhibit together and generally develop a supportive group. There was much discussion and much consensus. Everyone went home with homework. Mine is to start exploring exhibition venues together with terms and conditions, which we can review at our next meeting.  I think it is going to work. The only downside is that there could hardly be a worse time to try and sell art. We can only try.

The grapes were growing in the garden of this afternoon's host.
