Trip to Windsor

Living near to the Thames, we arranged to take our daughter and the boys for a day trip to Windsor. We went by boat from Runnymede to Windsor - you then have 4 hours in Windsor, then pick up the boat for the return trip. The trip takes you through 2 locks - Windsor lock and Romney lock. (The extra is coming out of the lock at Romney on the way back.)

A lovely day, weather wise, although still a bit muggy.

Spent the 4 hours having lunch, looking around the sights, feeding the swans/ducks and an ice cream. Fascinated to find a VR and GR postbox, as well as ER ones.

After dropping our daughter and boys home, back home - we both needed a snooze.
