how many of us remember secretarial classes, learning on manual typewriters? I used to have to type scripts on a machine like this for Eamonn Andrews. It had a large font so he could read it {without glasses}.
It was typed on blue paper, which was readable in the studio, and always done at the last possible moment once the script was finalised. I found it very stressful, and someone unkindly said that he'd complained on air that he didn't have his script as a joke. I was mortified. Of course he didn't, he was far too nice.
see extras with light from my phone.... it's not a real machine, it's made of lego.
