Old Crowne
I managed a rare break at lunchtime today to go to the post office and had lined up a couple of potential blips. But on the way home on the upper deck of the
35 bus we stopped on the Royal Mile. I took a few shots looking up to St Giles in the evening light.
Just as the lights were changing I saw, directly opposite my window on the wall this emblem from when the modern hotel was built. The hotel used to be known as The Crowne Plaza and is now the Radisson Blu.
The sunlight was just catching the gilding and I just got a couple of pictures through the window. As the combination of happenstance is unlikely to recur this has to be today's blip. I'll recreate the others on a future occasion.
