I absolutely bloody love slip-catching practice. I enjoy it even more than batting because a) I'm better at it than I am at batting and b) I can dive around.

This is the formidable cordon warming-up before the game against Cranham. There's some serious ballast in there and we reckon if I'd been involved, it may indeed have shifted the Earth on its axis.

p.s. The young Gegg on the right, I left in shot when cropping because a) he's the best ballboy around and b) it gives the situation a small crowd. Kinda lifts the shot from the humdrum to the thought-provoking.
