Did a different form of shoot today, went to a proper gun range (not one of the tourist traps) with some of the guys who are out in Vegas as well and we did some shooting. I also managed to take some camera shots too.

Tried some handguns (Glock & Colt 45), then an assault rifle (AR15), then finished by firing the most powerful handgun in the world, the Smith & Wessson Model 500 which is an absolutely insane gun. Even the military guns I fired in the cadets weren't as loud or as scary as firing that beast.

Was fun, found that i'm still a pretty decent shot (despite not shooting a riffle in over 24 years!) and am really glad handguns like that are banned in the UK. Fully understand why people in Alaska might need one to protect themselves from bears, but what other reason is there for having a .50 handgun?

Trying to eat healthily, not completely sticking to the diet (had beers last night) but scales still show me loosing weight :)

Will catch up with commenting and backblipping soon. Hardly any time spare at the moment but the conference started today and am finding some times between sessions to catch up....
