Laurevoir

Now I live alone. An apartement this big for little old me.
When you live with someone, you want to live alone. Still, when they leave you know you will miss them.

Myriam picked us up this morning for the grand anglo-franco-espanol meal that we had planned. We went to the supermarket, bakery, post office. Spent the morning in cooking. 4 different woman in the kitchen, 3 different countries cooking their specialities... and no crisis or stress occured. The meal was lovely, and the picture is my Victoria Sponge (made with the help of Lyse, I am merely her sous-chef!) and a coffee - not much more you can ask for on an afternoon than that. Played a board game with Lyse - Qui est-ce? or Guess Who?, loved that game when I was younger.

Came down to our flat to say goodbye to Laura.

Half an hour later Lyse came to find me to see if I wanted to go up to their apartment. At the time I thought it was because Lyse didn't want to be on her own, but now I realise that it's because they didn't want to me to be on my own. I ate with them, and stayed to watched the final of Top Chef - unfortunately my favourite didn't win.

Came back downstairs. Had several missed calls from Sebastian who left a voicemail saying he has a proposition for me... can't get my hopes up.

Such a perfect day, a little tinge of sadness all the same.
