Bakehouse joy

We were sent some photos this morning on the family group chat of Andrew and JB off on their bikes to pick up the morning holiday pastries in Cornwall. There was no other option after that but to swing by the Bakehouse on the cycle to work and pick up a pastry. It’s hard to find a satisfactory pain au raisin this side of the Channel but the Bakehouse do a pretty solid effort.

Another day plodding along in the office, thankfully followed by the prospect of a fun evening ahead. Niki, who’s recently moved to Shrewsbury from Wem with her family, hosted a curry night with a few of us and her lovely girls. A fun evening to kick off what’s shaping up to be a pretty full bank holiday weekend!
