UKRAINE INDEPENDENCE DAY

Such a difficult day in so many ways…
*Sad for our Ukrainian family that they aren’t able to celebrate in their home town with their families
*sad for the lockdowns that have occur in Ukraine for security reasons.
However we managed a little celebration…the flags went up again outside the house, we went to a rotary club function in Bromley…not brilliant but Oksana said her spirit was lifted to be among so many Ukrainians; many wearing National Dress. I went with another host and one of her family. In the evening their was a march in London and Oksana met Vova up there and again they were lifted being among so many Ukrainians …probably a few 100.
