Mrs Chippy, the ship's cat

In previous lives I was a member of the ship’s crew on two famous polar expeditions, first with Captain Scott in 1912, (Scotty as I called him) and then with Sir Ernest Shackleton (Ernie to me) in 1914. Six lives later my current master is very interested in these things and reads about them endlessly. I tend to put him right when I feel that the text might be misleading, otherwise I let him dream on. As you might imagine, I did not survive either expedition but a kind lady called Caroline Alexander collaborated with me in writing the true story of my adventures. Mrs Chippy’s Last Expedition.
