Tessellation

I cycled over to the house this evening to water my apple trees (yes, with a watering can, not simply turning the hosepipe on them, though I confess to filling the watering can with a hosepipe since that's all there is attached to the tap).

And I saw that although my neighbours' house was boarded up at the end of the day's work, mine wasn't. The tap is near the house so I peered in. Ah - it's now unsquattable. All the floorboards are up and the voids underneath are deep.

Of course demolition is all progress but I was excited to see a bit of new building: behind the small wall built last week timbers are now in to support the top of the new staircase. One day there will be stairs and I will walk up them!
