Grade II listed..

There are two derelict Victorian mortuary chapels in Ince cemetery, both are the work of Alfred Waterhouse who also created Manchester Town Hall, London’s Natural History Museum and the site of the Museum of Wigan Life in the town centre.
There were plans in 2019 to restore the chapels but sadly this plan seems to have been shelved.
