Hammering

Via chat from the rowing club, 10 people got together today for a breakfast trip to Allensbach (on the German side of the lake). That a hammer comes along is new for me. I have never seen that in all the years I have been rowing.

Our Daniel Düsentrieb (Gyro Gearloose) in the club has invented a new fastening technique for boats. Attached to two hammered-in stakes, it lies quietly off shore (see extra). No unnecessary risk to carry it over rocks and place it somewhere on land. However, this technique works only if the conditions are right (not too rocky bottom, no waves, etc.).
