Borders tour

Off in the campervan for a couple of days - only to the Borders, and popping into England.
Stopped off first at Burnmouth, along the coast and a few miles off the A1. A hidden gem of a village and harbour.
Then on to the Chain Bridge at Horncliffe - on the England side. It’s under repair at the moment so we weren’t able to cross it.
Stopped for a cycle tour of Berwick - followed the old town wall round went out to the lighthouse. Could have spent lots of time here staring out to sea.
And finally our home for 2 nights - a campervan park in the walled gardens of Paxton House. A lovely spot to stay in and we could just wander out in to the grounds of the house and down to the river Tweed.
