Peace

After yesterday’s visit to Blaydon today I was enjoying the riverside in the village. This simple bench makes the end of a footpath, further progress hindered by the River North Tyne (left) and the Warks Burn, joining it from the right.
The North Tyne flows away towards its confluence with the South Tyne north of Hexham, then on to Newcastle and the North Sea.
