It's funny how things work out. Today is my 365th blipday, and we had it all organised at home how we were going to celebrate it. Then we decided to go away for a few days, and here we are in Akaroa. Yesterday we decided to go on a Akaroa Harbour Nature Cruise at 11.00 am today, but awoke to rain this morning, so decided to delay it until the 1.00pm sailing. It is still raining, with a Southerly wind, and the Black Cat Cruises that run the cruise have decided to cancel this afternoon's trip.

Luckily I took this photo of a Shag this morning, during a break in the rain. I thought it was rather appropriate - it looks like it is clapping its wings in celebration!

So today I have been blipping continuously for 1 year. I'm not going to say too much, as it has all been said before, so thanks fellow blippers for your continued support. I may not get to comment on your journals all the time, but I certainly try and have a look at them!
