Long Awaited

The day started hot and humid and after an extended breakfast I drove to the Kneipp-basin and enjoyed the cool (8°C) water. I had the basin all to myself today and stayed a long time. I watched the clouds grow big and bigger. The main photo was taken on my way back to the car.

It took another 3 hours before thunder and lightning and heavy rain arrived, but it arrived! It's still raining now, not much, but it is rain. The temperature has dropped more than 10 degrees since it started to rain.

The extra: From the balcony I watched a pigeon bathe in the big puddle the first thunderstorm left in the Kindergarten back yard. Not much of a photo, but I think I know how it felt.
