Diamond Jubilee

Today and Francis Francie as we call her said she didn’t want anything special and she was in retreat for the past ten days she knew nothing about the new hymns being practiced each morning cake being made we were all warned not to breathe a word about it so yesterday I spent the day doing flowers for the church and our Ref and blowing up balloons the good this was she loves lots of colours so I did not worry about matching up the flowers I will put in more tomorrow I meant to make a collage of todays. Anyway the biggest surprise was our organist played during the quiet part Thornbirds she loved that series and the music so she was overwhelmed tears flowed from start to finish! It was a great day and we get a holidays not sure how many days but will enjoy it whatever we get the cake was made and decorated by one of the sisters and tasted delicious!
