Recycling

The day of the show today. We all had a good day with lots of produce to display, despite the hot spell meaning that many flowers we we normally show had passed their best. Our number of entrants was down a bit and the office was very quiet as many now working from home. Nevertheless a very good day. I came away with a few trophies and, on points, was runner up overall.

One section I do not enter is that for crafts, in past years we have had quilt and patchwork,. This year there were more entries of homemade jewellery and ceramics. We have a section for recycled items. The blip is of the central axle of a wheel from a childish bike and flowers from recycled metal. Very creative.
