Wildflowers at the beach

Another Monday morning with J in a phone meeting at 7am, so I headed out, as usual, to school with R and then to the beach for a run.

There were dolphins in the bay, clearly visible as the ocean was calm, but impossible for me to photograph - too far away, too fast.
The moon was still in the sky, even though the sun was bright - couldn't capture that either.
I have a nice photo of the beach and the pier in the morning light. Again.

So here we are with the wildflowers by the steps. Totally spoiled with too many pretty things here.
