strange darkness

This photo was taken at 2:00 in the afternoon, and yet it felt like evening. Colorado is known for blue sky days but today we seemed to have a marine layer of clouds hanging low with sunshine poking through from above. I felt very disoriented and ended up with a migraine headache! Now that I've napped and it really is evening I am feeling better.
