The Fungi Hunt is on.........

.....Katey & I went bush this morning hunting out fungi.  We thought there may have been some after the rain, and there was not a lot of variety.  In fact, only two that we saw.  Mind you, the heavens opened and we got drenched.  A heck of a lot of fun, certainly have to get down and dirty!!!

This one is galerina hypnorum or so we think.  Just the tiniest, little mushrooms ever.   A brown honey colour.  A little bit of clearing of forest floor stuff with tweezers, a wee paint brush to clean up along with a small piece of tin foil to lighten the gills has produced this tight knit community.
