Ballet du Chienne

“And…..stretch!”

It’s been an outdoors day. The early frost lifted quickly and I finished laying weedmat in the soft fruit cage. At last all the work in there is done and I can leave the bushes to grow fabulous fruit.

All afternoon I’ve been helping my nearest neighbours renovate their tunnel house. An extra pair of hands was definitely useful. We got all the woodwork repairs done, straightened a few pieces of the metal frame, replaced and fixed stakes, and stuck fabric strip to all the uprights. Tomorrow morning we reconvene to put on the new plastic sheeting.

Bean and Tilda hung out together in the most delightful way. They are such good pals. I didn’t have a camera on me, so the Blip is Bean alone, practising her ballet stretches prior to going for a walk.
