Come on the spring!

A very very busy weekend following a very very miserable week.

However, today blew most of it out of my hair with a trip to Brighton beach.

I laid down on the pebble beach and looked at the sky and listened to the waves crashing on the shore.

Youngest son launched himself from the ridge on the beach, dodgemed, wurlitzered and log flumed. I did the dodgems too but passed on the wurlitzer as last time I felt as if my brain had permanaently changed position!

Later I went to meet some old friends at the field. Haven't seen them for a couple of years so it was really nice to catch up this afternoon.
