Journée de la Verne (Alder)

Today was a local conservation day when the community get together to cut down invasive species in the Taveyanne nature reserve. Around 40 people turned up and we spent 4 hours cutting and moving unwanted bushes. This frog put in an appearance at one point to see what was happening. We used bags to move the branches and they were shredded immediately using a machine.

When it was all cleared away we were invited to the local farm for soup, bread, cheese and wine. A very rewarding day. The extra shows the area where we were working.
