Chester FC 0 AFC Fylde 1

Luck is meant to even itself out over the season so we should be in for some real good fortune in the next few weeks. 

Today, we were playing the promotion favourites and ended the game with 9 men while Fylde also had a player sent off. It was by no means a dirty game and while I can understand the decision that resulted in both sides being reduced to 10 men Chester's second sending off was not a red card and should have been a yellow. It is the sort of incident that happens in every match and when a Fylde player made a similar foul later on in the game he only got a yellow.

To cap it all we lost our best player, to what looked like a serious injury, which is very frustrating because our other top player is out for the season. Hopefully we can raise enough players for the game at Curzon Ashton on Monday.
