River Wharfe

A very enjoyable cooked breakfast at the hotel.
I was in a family room : double bed and two singles so l had the pleasure of all three granddaughters sharing with me.
They were soon out like a light, they were exhausted to be truthful and we all slept through until l woke at 8:45am!
We set off home and passed the theatre, the poster was still outside so we too the opportunity to take another photograph for posterity and without all the after show commotion last night.

We had driven for around half an hour when one of the girls couldn’t find her EarPods, so we pulled into a service station and Rebecca phoned the hotel and asked them to search the two rooms we had used.
Found!
So we drove back and collected them.
Set off again and arrived home mid afternoon with no further incidents.
So impressed with Rebecca and Mike, they were so calm throughout the whole incident which added 90 minutes to our journey time.

After l unpacked l went into Otley to get some fresh figs to take to Tim’s tomorrow.
Didn’t get my steps in yesterday so decided to have a walk by the river as it was such a lovely afternoon.
Currently enjoying Cynthia Erivo at the Proms on BBC 2, what a voice!
