The Voice(s)

The University of Oregon Chamber Choir at St Columba's church, Kells, last night. I'm looking after them on tour in Ireland. Last night was their first concert and they are fantastic.
Today they sing in Christchurch Cathedral in Dublin at lunchtime before we head to Galway. Tomorrow, we visit the Cliffs of Moher and the Ailwee Caves before another concert in Loughrea Library, getting back to Galway around eleven pm. After that, it gets hectic...
On Thursday, we leave Galway to travel to Cork, where the choir are taking part in the International Choral Festival. We have a performance at 12.15 at City Hall, time for lunch and check in to the hotel before a trip to Blarney Castle for another performance.
The next day we have a walking tour followed by a performance at the Masonic Hall, followed by a meet & greet back at City Hall.
Saturday is the most important for the choir. They are in the Fleischmann International Competition, but before that they are taking part in the Big Sing. On Sunday, they sing as part of the service at St Columba's in Douglas, followed by the awards ceremony and Gala Concert back at City Hall.
Should be fun! I hope the weather holds as we are supposed to walk between our hotel and the city centre venues. Phew.
