New discoveries

Went to Southbourne. Bus to Boscombe, and walked along the cliff-top to Southbourne.

Discovered a quirky newish shop in Sea Rd, Boscombe. I’m too old and the wrong size, but was fun checking out the wares.

Nice stroll, an Aspall at The Commodore. Then the usual walk up and down The Grove. Bought the best greengages ever at TD Fruits - they looked quite green (with a tinge of red) and expected they’d need to ripen, but tried one and it was soooo good.

Another discovery, a new shop opening soon, ‘Isesi’. Looked stylish. Chatted to the owner who was standing outside. Found he is Egyptian and his wife Cypriot. Lovely couple, they invited us in for a Lavazza coffee! They will be serving coffee and light food (Cypriot salad etc.), and selling Egyptian cotton goods and Cypriot foods. Sounds interesting.
