Two weeks to the election
Today we from the Left Party were standing on the square chatting to people, offering coffee, biscuits, and lollipops for the kids. Balloons were available too. We handed out literature explaining our local priorities and talked about what was important for our party. We listened to what people had to say - their comments and criticism help us to hone our message.
By mid-afternoon the shops had shut and the stream of people was reduced to a trickle so we packed up and headed for home.
Back home I was out harvesting (extra). Bilberries, blackberries, peas, potatoes, and lingon berries. The latter are just ripening so it'll be a week or two before we do serious picking in the forest but I have never seen so many lingonberries. If we can find time to pick we could have enough for the next two or three years, which is always good because some years that harvest fails almost totally.
